North carolina "triangle" help?

im looking to possibly move to raleigh, nc. and im looking for places to rent, and everytime i search raleigh, i always get cary, durahm, and chapel hill listings. how close together are all these cities, my school is in raleigh so i dont wanna live to far away from there, info on this would be helpful thanks
