Do people really believe that the Bible is contradictory?
I know that without a spirit of faith, it is impossible to understand the full beauty of it, but it's not just the beauty of God's love that I'm talking about here. I mean, if you really go back to the King James Version and study it, you'll find that it all makes perfect sense. Basically, God made man in love, man turned from Him, God offered reconciliation, even to giving up the comforts of Heaven to live a life of hardship and die on a cross. When he created ceremonial laws, they were to protect the Israelites form things they didn't understand yet. (Kosher diet) When He died, the obedience of the law was no longer part of that relationship with Him, and we only need faith. That has been open to all people since the beginning of time. Noah preached for 120 years so someone would follow him, but no one did. Rahab, who was a harlot, was given the chance to "join the congregation" and had a part in King David, and even Jesus' carnal genealogy. The cross ties everything together, right?
