Christian: Would it be fair to say that if you haven't yet hated Jesus, then you have yet to love Him?

I never considered myself a "God hater" before I became a Christian - but, like Paul, I enjoyed dissin' His followers. Once I became a Christian, I realized that, in essence, I HAD hated Him. I had lived my life in direct opposition of His principles, I didn't respect Him. I was a "free thinking," rebellious, intellectual who was spiritually bound by things that are displeasing to my Creator. I was spiritually deaf, dumb & blind. I defended my unbelief and apathy toward God, and then I met Him personally. My life has never been the same since and it's all because of HIM, Who He Is, and the unfathomable amount of love He has for me, His creation. To know Him is to love Him.
